Updated: May 10

The Royal Hawaiian Cocktail began under another name at the luxurious Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki Beach . Originally known as the Princess Ka'iulani Cocktail, it was renamed the Royal Hawaiian before becoming the resort's signature cocktail in the 1950s. On my research I see that probably the drink was created at the Moana hotel in the 1920, then some how end up later on at the Royal Hawaiian. in Waikiki Beach. This is a classic Tiki gin based cocktail made with pineapple juice and packed with vibrant tropical fruits with hints of fresh lemon and almonds. A well-balanced drink with a dry taste. Truly delicious... Sip on!!
